To the shore of the Great Lakes

SCS Software has revealed the next US state in their work pipeline for American Truck Simulator and it will be the one state needed to complete the classical Route 66 distance between Chicago and Los Angeles.

So Illinois it is. Or will be, more exactly, since there are some states queued up to be released before this.

ETS2 gets new Iveco truck

A couple of days after the release of the Greece map expansion DLC it is time for another release for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

This time it is a totally free gift to all ETS2 players in the form of a new IVECO S-Way truck.

Shiny new truck in shiny new landscape.

The new S-Way comes with three engine options: 460 HP, 500 HP, and 580 HP, and while it right now only has the 4×2 chassis option, a 6×2 chassis option has been promised in a future update. The S-Way also joins the earlier released DAF and MAN trucks in the club with advanced camera mirrors option.

Greek Drama and more

Exploring a map for a good map review is not without its share of drama.

Time for some Drama in my life again. But this time it’s not courtesy of Promods’ mod map but the real official thing.
This is definitely not going to make any scratch marks, right?
It’s all in the details. And knowing SCS I bet that phone booth do exist in real life.

Welcome to Greece

Euro Truck Simulator 2: Greece was released December 4, so instead of December darkness it’s time for some Mediterranean sun. A longer review is in the works.

ETS2: Greece release date set

The new Greece map DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has now got a release date. It will be available for purchase starting December 4th.

Slow traffic

I am not sure if this is something that was added recently, but this is as far as I can recall the first time I’ve got stuck behind a slow-moving tractor in American Truck Simulator.

The location is a highway in Arkansas, by the way.

New Mack truck added in ATS

Right in time for their launch of the Arkansas DLC, SCS Software has added yet another truck to the American Truck Simulator stable.

This time it is the Mack Pinnacle which will join the line-up of Mack Anthem trucks ingame and is a free addition to the game. It will show up as soon as the 1.51 version of the game is installed.

The Mack Pinnacle will be available in all the classic three cabin variants (Day Cab, 48-inch Flat Top Sleeper and 70-inch StandUp Sleeper), several chassis and length options (6×2, 6×2 Liftable Pusher and 6×4), and with three engine options ranging from 415hp to 505hp.

Introduced in 2006, the Pinnacle is the successor of the Mack Vision. Currently, the product line is sold in the United States and Canada even if a similar version also is marketed in parts of South America.

In addition to the Mack Pinnacle, the 1.51 patch of the game will also add the  Limited Edition Mack Black Anthem®, which sports a blacked-out exterior trim package and other additional interior features. In the real world only 500 of this version was made, so it will definitely be easier to get your hands on it ingame where it will be available at all Mack salespoints.
