Geographica, or Tonakai World as was the earlier name, specializes in observing – and sometimes analysing – world affairs, cultural and natural geography with a particular focus on northern and central Europe and East Asia. This site is also planned to be the successor to the earlier Tonakai World web site. For now it is more of a quick and dirty notepad for interesting things.

Johan Rhen has a master degree in geography with additional studies in sustainable development, political science, history and Japanology. He has been a freelance writer and web publisher since 1996.
